Road Use

Motorcycles, ATVs and other similar vehicles are not permitted in Creston.

The speed limit within Creston is 20 MPH everywhere. We ask that everyone strictly observe that limit at all times and in all places, obey the stop signs and stay as far right as possible on all curves. Contractors found speeding can be banned from the mountain.

Heavy construction vehicles should travel on the asphalt payment at all times. If a construction vehicle and an automobile cannot safely pass without one leaving the pavement, the car should pull over, as far greater damage can be done to the edge of the pavement or the shoulder by a heavy vehicle than by a car.

All workers are permitted to travel over Creston roads only to/from their assigned job site. All other movement within Creston is considered trespassing.

Any work being performed after dark, on a weekend or on holidays must have approval from the Association. Contractors, or homeowners in behalf of their builder, can request approval for such work by contacting the Creston administrator.

Any site work that will result in blockage of any Creston road(s) or public access requires twenty-four (24) hours advance notice to the Creston administrator, who will contact all appropriate parties to acquire approval.

After-hours access

Each construction site is assigned a gate entrance code for use by all the owner’s contractors while working on their job. This code should be used for access to the job site when the gate is closed, and will be disabled when construction is complete.

Contractors and subs may post signs on Creston construction sites, but such signs much conform to a rigid set of specifications, as follows:
